I also noticed that a movie that I had brought over from the backup HD was visible to Plex, but when trying to play it would error saying it couldn't play the content. Every time it would run a media scan on a folder it would crash immediately and continue to crash if I selected "close program" until the scan was done. I was having the exact same problem after moving content from a backup HD into my plex server.
